About the Iraq War and the little girl who loves documentaries :)
These are Rafael Cavada and Santiago Pavlovic, chilean war correspondants and those responsible for me being here. Francisco Cavada born on december 15, 1967 in Vallenar, Chile Santiago Pavlovic born on november 6, 1946 in Machalí, Chile. They both studied in the Universidad de Chile, worked in Telelvisión Nacional de Chile (TVN) and covered the war in Iraq. The Iraq War had a huge, weird and unexpected impact in my life, from name my teddy bears after the president of the United States when I was 2 (shoutout to Bushmei and Bushmei Primo) to decide what I wanted to study. When I was 7 years old, I watched a tv program called "Informe Especial" about the Iraq War and they showed the moment when the US soldiers pulled down the Saddam Hussein statue in Bagdad. Santiago and Francisco were filming and talking everything they were watching on the top of a tank. That scene was tattooed on the back of my brain forever.
