About Pink Floyd and small coins :)

The first time I saw one of this I was 9 years old maybe. It was on my dad's room, it was big, old and the most amazing thing I had ever seen.

This one was from my grandfather and had a little detail: it haven't enough weight on the needle, so you had to put a small coin in the top of the arm to make it work.

I was starstruck with this beautiful thing and how it worked, for me it was magic. My dad play me some of his favorite things on it and I remember spend so much time just looking and learning.

My dad lent it to me when I was 12. It was heavy and difficult to clean, but I loved take care of it.

I got my own at 17. It was a christmas gift and I was the happiest person in the world. It was white and smaller than the one I fell in love, but it was perfect.

My dad loves Pink Floyd and I grow up with their music so, naturally, the first thing that I play on this new one was my favorite song of them.

Now I have a lot of new things to play on it (most of them gifts as well) in different colors and sizes. And I love every single one.
